Michele Gunn – The Brain Behind Turquoise Dragonfly.

At The Turquoise Dragonfly, we do not just believe that jewelry is “so much more than” just an “accessory”; we also believe that it is an embodiment of years of artistic knowledge and craftsmanship passed down generation to generation. Also, it is a reflection of the rich Native American culture, heritage, and history.

And for Michele Gunn – the mastermind behind Turquoise Dragonfly, it is a way to honor the skill and artistry of Native American artisans exhibiting an undeterred tenacity to preserve Native American jewelry design. Turquoise Dragonfly was not founded on a pretext to just sell beautiful pieces, but founded on our business ethos that honors preserves, and introduces a rich cultural heritage across the world.

Message from Michele Gunn

As a lifelong lover of turquoise jewelry and Native American designs, I have always been inspired by the skill and artistry of Native American artisans. Living in Phoenix, Arizona allowed me to see and experience their work firsthand, and I was truly enchanted by their spectacular designs. But when I moved to Arkansas, I found it difficult to find local sources for the jewelry I loved. This inspired me to create The Turquoise Dragonfly, a platform for me to share my passion for Native American jewelry and turquoise with others and to preserve this rich cultural heritage.

At The Turquoise Dragonfly, I source my pieces from all over and am always on the lookout for new and vintage items that I can add to my collection. I take great pride in my collection and am passionate about honoring and preserving the cultural significance of Native American jewelry. Each piece tells a story and represents a piece of history and tradition, passed down from generation to generation. By offering a unique collection of Native American jewelry, I hope to inspire others to appreciate and preserve this rich cultural heritage. I believe that jewelry is not just about accessorizing, but about making a personal connection with culture, history, and tradition. I invite you to explore The Turquoise Dragonfly and experience the beauty, craftsmanship, and cultural significance of Native American jewelry for yourself.

Together, let's celebrate and preserve this rich cultural heritage, one piece of jewelry at a time.

With Love

Michele Gunn
